Zacchaeus was a tax collector who had no friends because he took people’s money to make himself rich. Jesus showed him love, and it changed his life. When Zacchaeus realized that Jesus loved him even though he had messed up, he wanted to show that kind of love to others. You can find this story in Luke 19:1-9.
This Bible story is based on Luke 15:11–32.
Prayer is talking to God. There are lots of examples of ways to pray, but in this story, we’ll hear about Praise (2 Chronicles 20), Repentance (Psalm 51), Asking (I Samuel 1) and listening (1 Samuel 3), because that reminds us to Yield to God. (P.R.A.Y. Get it?)
